Workshop Sustainability Upgrades

With the White Space Creative production crew on site with various installs this January, the workshop in Hertfordshire got a serious upgrade.

With plenty of ceiling height available to us, Mezz Floors UK have been hard at work building out a mezzanine floor in our workshop doubling the bench space capacity in our production area.

Our increasing client roster is seeing a greater demand on output, so these new benches will see plenty of activity. This also means we’re in an active phase of recruitment for talented carpenters and industry experienced hands to join us this year with interviews underway!

The team were also thrilled to enjoy a warm reception back at HQ with our new wood burner heating our facility with the off cuts and discards from our work. 

We’ve given a lot of consideration to how we can build better practices into our sustainability commitment, and this was made possible thanks to Wood Waste Technology.

In amongst these internal enhancements, the on site teams delivered an amazing array of projects for a number of new and retained clients at various exhibitions in London, Nuremberg and Barcelona as you’ll have seen in detail from our recent posts.

The planning and preparations for these were exceptionally tight and only made possible with our own fleet of vehicles with transport between multi-operational toy fairs and multi-site locations.
